Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Lake Cook Music Studio LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”), including our music instruction, events, and website.
By enrolling, registering, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Registration & Enrollment

  • Students must be registered via our official registration form.
  • Parents/guardians must complete registration for minors under 18.
  • Placement in classes or lessons is subject to availability and instructor discretion.

2. Tuition & Billing

  • Tuition must be paid according to the studio’s published billing schedule.
  • Billing may be monthly, by session, or by semester, depending on the program.
  • Late payments may incur fees or result in paused services.

3. Cancellations & Makeups (Classes & Lessons)

  • A minimum of 24-hour notice is required to qualify for a makeup.
  • Up to 2 makeups are allowed per academic year.

4. Studio Policies

  • Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared for lessons.
  • Parents may observe lessons at the instructor’s discretion.
  • Consistent practice is expected for student growth.

5. Media Release

  • We may photograph or record lessons, classes, and performances for educational, promotional, or archival purposes. This may include group events where individual consent is not practical.
  • By enrolling in our programs, you acknowledge and accept that your or your child’s image or performance may appear in such recordings.
  • You may opt out if we intend to use footage or images featuring only you or your child individually by submitting a written request.

6. Communication & Notifications

  • Studio updates and reminders may be sent via email or text (SMS).
  • By providing your phone number, you agree to receive studio-related communications.
  • You may opt out of non-essential SMS at any time by replying “STOP” or contacting the studio.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for injuries sustained during studio activities.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring the safety and supervision of their children on studio premises.

8. Disenrollment

  • You may discontinue classes or lessons by notifying us in writing according to the studio’s withdrawal policy.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

  • We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website or emailed to you.
