At Lake Cook Music Studio (LCMS), we believe that music is more than something you learn—it’s something you experience, enjoy, and carry with you throughout your life.

Since 2010, LCMS has been helping students of all ages and abilities grow as musicians, build confidence, and develop a lasting love of music. Our approach goes beyond simply completing assignments. We focus on developing strong musicianship while helping students express themselves through learning, playing, and creating music!

The LCMS Experience

We call our approach The LCMS Experience because we believe that what a student learns is just as important as how they learn it.

Students are shown how to work smart, work well, and grow—taking their time, focusing on quality, developing good practice habits, and continually challenging themselves to improve. Through personalized instruction, making music together, sharing music with others, and celebrating progress, students build not only musical skills but also confidence, independence, and a deeper connection with music.
